Step To Perform Root Canal Treatment
A root canal is a hollow section of a tooth that consists of the nerve tissues, other cells, and blood vessels, also called the pulp. It nourishes the tooth and offers moisture to its surrounding material. In fact, the nerves in the pulp can feel the hot and cold temperatures.
However, in the dental

the advanced application.

non-surgical treatment are also provided to students to enhance their skills.
How to do RCTs?
Generally, root canal treatment
is carried out in three steps, and it’s completed between one and three
sessions. It includes-
●
Cleaning the root canal
First,
the dentist cleans the inside of the root canal. It’s performed with the help
of local anesthesia when the dentist creates a small hole on the top of the
tooth’s surface to remove the dead pulp tissue through small files.
●
Filling the root canal
After
then the dentist shapes and disinfects the hollow area through small files.
Later the dentist filled the tooth with a rubber-like material sealed by an
adhesive cement to close the canals completely.
After
the therapy, the patient won’t feel pain as the tooth is dead. The dentist has
already removed the nerve tissue, and even the infection part is removed.
●
Adding a crown or filling
Now
the tooth will receive nourishment from the attached ligaments. However, with
time the tooth would turn brittle. So to help secure the tooth crown or
protected layers are added.
