most of the students go for the MDS option after completing their BDS degree.

Start your own Dental Clinic
If
you’re still wondering what after BDS you don’t have to, you can also set up
your own dental clinic. Well, this is a good career option for dental students
to generate a good source of income. But before that, you have to invest both
in your clinic as well as in your skills.
Also,
you should research first where you can open your clinic and checking the
competition status of that area. However, it’s recommended to work for one year
with any private clinic to gain experience. So you learn crown-cutting, RCT,
impactions, and more. So you can learn to handle patients, expenses, finance,
and treatments.
A career as a Dentist Overseas
Well,
pursuing your dental professional course overseas is a triumphant career
opportunity for everyone. But each country has its separate exams and rules. So
to get eligible for those exams, you need to practice a lot.
UAE: If you’re willing to work in Dubai, you must
secure a DOH license given by Dubai Health Authority UAE’s Health Ministry. In
fact, you can give Dental GP exam after completing your BDS with a year of
internship and teaching experience. But if you haven’t interned, you must have
2 years of practice in a non-teaching hospital.
Singapore: In work in Singapore, you need a dental
degree which Singapore Dental Council only approves.
USA: If you’re looking to work as a dentist in
the USA, you must pass the NBDE Part 1 and 2 exams to join the dental college
and get a valid US degree.
